Student Enrollment
Agreement -
California Real Estate School
1. Agreement
This Enrollment Agreement (“Agreement”) is made by the Real Estate
Learning Center (“the Center”), and the student/purchaser (“student”).
The Center and student agree to the terms and conditions described
below.
2. Student Recovery Tuition Fund and Complaint
Process:
All programs offered by the Center are registered with the State of
California. Registration means that certain minimum standards imposed by
the state for registered schools on the basis of a written application
to the state have been adequately met. Registration does not mean that
any of the more extensive standards required by the state for schools
that are approved to operate or licensed, or that the state has verified
the information we submitted with our registration form, have been met.
Our education programs are not subject to Student Recovery Tuition Fund.
Any questions or problems concerning this school that have not been
satisfactorily answered or resolved by this school should be directed to
the Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau For Private Postsecondary &
Vocational Education, 400 R Street, Ste. 5000, Sacramento, CA 95814
(916) 445-3427.
3. This agreement is a legally binding instrument:
Upon purchase, or when signed by the student and accepted by the Center,
this agreement is a legally binding instrument. Your acceptance of this
agreement acknowledges that you have been given: (1) a written statement
of the refund policy including examples of how it applies and; (2) a
catalog including a description of the course or educational service
including all material facts concerning the Center and the program or
course of instruction which are likely to affect your decision to
enroll. Upon purchase of the program or course, you will be given a copy
of it to retain.
4. This agreement is specific to Real Estate
courses provided by the Center:
A total of 12 months is granted to complete each course. 45 hours are
required to complete each course. Your start date is the date you
purchased the course. Your completion date is the date you successfully
pass your exam as described in the section below.
5. Passing Requirements and Certificate of
Completion:
Each test is an open-book exam featuring 100 multiple choice questions.
A score of 60% correct is the minimum necessary to pass all exams. The
time allotted for taking the test is 3 hours. Upon successful
completion of a course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion
within five (5) business days when applicable.
6. Student's Right to Cancel and Refund Policy:
The student has a right to cancel this enrollment agreement and obtain a
refund. You may cancel this enrollment agreement and receive a refund by
providing a written notice to the Center. Students shall have the right
to cancel until midnight of the eighth (8th) calendar day after
registration and receive a 100% refund (less shipping and reasonable
administrative fees not to exceed $50.00). All refunds are contingent
upon return of the unused study materials. Notification of withdrawal or
cancellation and any request for a refund must be made by the student in
writing. If the Center cancels or discontinues a course or educational
program, the Center will make a full refund of all charges.
Credit Card Refund: All refunds will be provided as a credit to
the credit card or debited bank account within five (5) business days
upon receipt of the returned study materials.

and subsequently cancelled his purchase 2 days later. Upon notification,
the Center promptly refunded him the purchase price of the course less
any applicable charges.
7. Fees and Charges:
The student is responsible for all course fees and charges indicated by
the Center.
